Studies
In 2004, I earned a Master in Library Science (MLS) and a Master
in Information Science (MIS) from Indiana University's
School of Library and Information
Science. Originally I intended to only
pursue the MIS with a concentration on user-centered design,
but I soon realized I was an in-the-closet librarian. Luckily, I embraced
librarianship and all of its marvels (faceted classification, representation of information, subject analysis,
indexing and abstracting, cataloging, metadata, thesauri -- oh thesauri! -- and so on). I decided then to
pursue both areas of study.
